About Mt. Esja Ultra

Mount Esja dominates Reykjavik's skyline and the view from the top of this 914-metre high mountain is breathtaking.

The main event is 43KM and has a 3600M vertical gain, with 5 different climbs. The half marathon is a brand new distance of 21KM and 1500M vertical gain. 
 
Mt Esja Ultra  has been held since 2012 and the 14th edition of of the race will be on the 14th of June 2025.
